I Am A Retail Pharmacist And Yesterday A Mother Came

I am a retail pharmacist and yesterday a mother came to seek advice how to help her 12 yrs old son who was diagnosed with Steven-Johnson sindrom, sores in his mouth and crusts full of puss on his lips. Child did not eat solid food for a week as he can not open his mouth. She left with Anbesol, Emla cream, sterile gause pads and Polysporin Plus (triple antibiotic with anaestetic) ointment. Child had previously amoxicillin, Tylenol and Advil, we don't know what caused it. Any suggestions?
