I Am A Retired RN . I Woke Up About

I am a retired RN . I woke up about 45 minutes ago with severe burning in my vaginal and lower pelvic area. I took my 5th dose of Metronidazole Vaginal Gel - 0.77% at about 8:30 pm this evening. After about 10 minutes, I took a 25 mg tablet of diphenhydramine. Then I took a 220 mg. naproxen sodium pill. It has now been 25 minutes since taking the diphenhydramine . The itching, burning , and pelvic discomfort is greatly reduced. Do you think I can wait till office hours at 8 am to see my doctor or should I go to an ER. I am 74 years old, and on Medicare. Sue
