I Am A Senior 84 Yrs. I Broke My Lower

I am a senior 84 yrs. I broke my lower left rib about a year ago or so. I sleep on my left side and it causes discomfort the next day so I sleep always on my right side. I feel bloated and whjen I burp I feel better for a while. I am on antibiotics for ten days. Is it my rib or a fat short waisted middle ?
