I Am About To Go On To Pristiq 100mg After

I am about to go on to Pristiq 100mg after stopping Lexapro 20mg about 4 months ago and now falling into a dark hole. Anxiety is my main issue but depression comes when I fight the anxiety too long without meds. I am worried about going on to meds again as I want to feel happy, excited, and look forward to things and I fear it may turn me into a zombie again or worse still it wont work. Any advice?
