I Am Allergic To Hair Dyes Used Brands Like L'oreal

I am allergic to hair dyes used brands like L'oreal castings etc. Without ammonia earlier I used to get bumps and redness with heat which used to settle in a day max. This time I got swollen eyelids and cheeks. And has not settled even after two days. Is there any permanent cure or should I stop using hair colours. Please advise
