I Am Allergic To Sulfa Drugs And Recently Had A

I am allergic to sulfa drugs and recently had a shingles shot which was followed by a severe skin reaction around the infection site. My Dr. thought it was from the sulfa component in the shot. Now I have been given a colonoscopy prep with sodium pico sulfate in it. Should I be concerned about this ingredient? I am scheduled to start the prep tomorrow and just discovered this ingredient when I picked up the prep.
