I am almost 49 years old. Normally my periods are heavy for a couple days before tapering off. I have been having mild cramps for about a day and thought I was about to start my period, so I put on a pad. I felt a large gush, much more than the normal start to my period. I ran to the bathroom to avoid an embarrassing situation only to find the pad soaked with a clear, odorless fluid.
