I Am Already On Omeprizole & Have Been For A

I am already on omeprizole & have been for a couple years now due to the threat of pre esophagile (sp) cancer which I don't want to accept
I am a healthy eater, staying away from all the things that might agrivate it except chocolate once a month :)
I am 63 yrs old and am having of & on, needle like stabbing felling in my upper left abdomen after eating. Any suggestions as to what it might be to relieve my Cancer scare thoughts? Thanx
