I Am An Adult Female, 58 Years Old Who Was

I am an adult female, 58 years old who was just recently found to have partial sacral angenesis. I have lumbar scoliosis and degenerative disks in the lumbar spine. My pain management doctor has referred me to see an ortho surgeon in her group for consultation as to if the lumbar/sacral area can or should be stabilized via surgery. My question is, should I see an ortho surgeon or should I be seen by a neurosurgeon?
