I Am An In-home Health Care Aide . I Have

I am an in-home health care aide . I have been told by my client to file her toenails which are infected babdly with fungus. He podiatrist no longer will do this for her saying that the procedure has been discontinued to do health risk to others, even when masks are worn. My question is wouldn't I be at risk too, even though the emery board is of course not an electric tool? I don't want this dust in my eyes, sinus, brocs. either. THe client also has COPD so I would think that she wouldn't want to breath it either. The client also always has a fan and or AC going, so that I would think kicks up the dust , even though we can't see any of it rising into the air. Thanks, please help!
