I Am Awakened At Night By Leg And Foot Cramps.

I am awakened at night by leg and foot cramps. Sometimes a tingling and numbness in my feet. At times during day my fingers will cramp and pull under. Seems to be only symptoms. No confusion or other symptoms but it is almost like restless leg syndrome sometimes. It wakes me up and then can't sleep. Have to try to walk it off. Very painful. I did have gastric bypass surgery 3 years ago and have problems keeping my protein up. Can this be part of problem or any other suggestions? I worry about MS but have no other symtpoms.
