I Am Being Tested For Vaginal Herpes And Chlamidia Was

I am being tested for vaginal herpes and chlamidia was also mentioned during my examination. I have had the same partner for 6 years who is away in a working camp for two weeks and home for a week. There are both men and women at this camp and I know he has had several close "friends" up at camp. I'm afraid his sexually activities outside our relationship has infected me. I have not had any other sexual partner in 6 years. I have read that stds can be dormant for a long length of time. I must approach my partner about this but waiting for blood tests and urine tests to confirm what I have in my genital area. Please help me by knowing how to approach my situation. Thanks inadvance.
