I Am Bruising At An Alarming Rate. Dark Red Then

I am bruising at an alarming rate. Dark red then purple. Most are round, small in clusters. Many are stand alone, round or oval and very dark. I don't know where most of them came from. Don't remember hitting anything. My blood work came in and iron level is normal range. I'm 60 yrs old and am active. Any ideas?
