I Am Caring For A Grandchild Who Is 7 Years

I am caring for a grandchild who is 7 years old and was born with bruising of the brain , he has been prescribed with aripiprazole five mg and I am concerned about this med because he cannot tell if he feels bad in any way . he gets therapy , pt, ot , and speech and he have vision problems . should I be concerned about him taking a med for his behavior.
