I am caring for my 90 year old Aunt. She has been taking Certirizine each day, and complains it makes her drowsy. She has had no other side effects. Can I safely switch her to XYZAL(levocertirizine Dihydrochloride 5mg QD, in an effort to reduce her drowsiness yet still provide her with the benefit of minimizing Her runny nose?
