I Am Checking The Medication That My Mother N Law

I am checking the medication that my mother n law is taking - she is taking amlodipine besylate 10 mg tab once daily and a clonidine hlc 0.1mg are these both for blood pressure? should we check with her doctor to make sure they are aware of this combination?
