I Am Concerned About The Fasting Blood Work I Had,

I am concerned about the fasting blood work I had, this week it was a 532 Platelet Count, In June of last year it was 448 Platelet Count. The doctor told me to take a daily aspirin and iron supplement and will recheck in 3 months. If it's still high she wants to send me to a Hematologist! Does this mean I have Cancer? A friend told me that Sand Flea Bites will cause a raise in platelets. I was in the Dominican Sept 2016 and came home with a really bad case of severe bites. The doctor gave me a steroid shot and prednisone to clear them up.
