I Am Concerned My 2 Year Old May Have Worms.

I am concerned my 2 year old may have worms. He has been passing long, white mucas looking things in his stole. After a phone conversation with my Dr. She suggested pin x but I am not sure it is pin worms. When should I be concerned if it round worms?
