I Am Currently On Birth Control And Take It Regularly.

I am currently on birth control and take it regularly. Last month I skipped the placebo pills and went straight to the next pack in order to skip my period. I just got my period this past week and it ended on sunday, but I started bleeding again today. What does this mean or what would be the cause of me bleeding two days after my period just ended?
