I Am Currently On Several Medications For Type 2 Diabetes

I am currently on several medications for type 2 diabetes - metformin time released, glymiperide, ozempic pen (began 10 weeks ago) and lipitor for cholesterol. I have had issues since taking all of the medications, but recently (within the past month) side effects have become worse. The past few days I am experiencing terrible gas, belching, acid reflux, burning in my throat and stomach, along with the regular side effects of watery diarrhea, and nausea. The worst is the belching and reflux right now. I asked my pharmacy and they suggested Omeprazole for the reflux. Your thoughts?
