I Am Currently Taking Levlen As Birth Control, Previously Taking

I am currently taking Levlen as birth control, previously taking norimin but stopped due to relentless midcycle bleeding. After one month on levlen without spotting, i skipped the sugar pill as i was going away. about a week later i started retaking minomycline to help my skin clear up and almost immediately i started bleeding. i'm not sure if it's because i skipped the sugar pill or because of the minomycline. I went to the doctors and was prescribed primolut to stop the bleeding, and i've been taking it for two days although the bleeding has not stopped. I have no idea what is happening!
