I Am Currently Taking Urocit-K Medicine Due To Having Nephrocalcinosis.

I am currently taking Urocit-K medicine due to having Nephrocalcinosis. My doctor just recently doubled the amount of medicine I take due to my lab results still being really low. Is it normal to have my kidneys ache a little bit from this kind of medication? Should I be concerned enough to contact my doctor?
