I Am Desperately Trying To Determine The Cause Of My

I am desperately trying to determine the cause of my mothers decline. She lives in a small town with a family practice physician who is wonderful but can't help feeling we are missing something. She is 78 years old and had been in relatively good health until 7-8 years ago when she was diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy and rheumatoid arthritis. She has had trouble walking (can't feel her feet). She has been on methyltrexate for RA for 7 years. Recently diagnosed with dry macular degeneration and is rapidly losing her sight. In past year, depression, increased falls resulting in broken ribs twice - has fallen every day for past week, is to weak to use a wheelchair as she has no strength in her hands, sweating profusely at times, blood pressure elevated. Rapid decline in past 2 weeks. Has had recent abcessed tooth and uti. Has some pedal edema, weight loss....
