I Am Diabetic And Am Getting Sores On My Fingertips

I am diabetic and am getting sores on my fingertips that I am having difficulty healing. My fingers get gard and the skin starts peeling off. No matter how much lotion or creams the feel dry and hard and continue to peel. They get very raw. If I use a petrolium try lotion then place bandades onthem they seem to look loke they are healing, but the minute they start getting back into the air they start all over again. This happens even when my blood sugar levels are good. Any suggestions or ideas as to why this is happening. I just assume its diabetic related.
