Is The Delay In Menstrual Bleeding For Over 4 Cycles Due To Hypothyroidism?

I am diagnosed with hypothyroidism as TSH level is approx 26 and my periods are delayed for 4 months! I took tablet for 10 days omitril but didnt got periods now I have started taking thyroxine for thyroid issue and stopped omitril! I still haven’t got periods! I m not understanding delayed periods are because of hypothyroidism or something else? Should I consider taking treatment other than treatment of thyroid?
