I Am Dizzy, And Have Trouble When I Get Up

I am dizzy, and have trouble when I get up out of bed. I have had this problem a few other times. I'm 63 years old. I have been told it is an inner ear problem with chrystals in the inner ear need to be put back where they go. I don't know how to do this. I have been told it has to do with rotating the head in certain ways to put the chrystals back where they go. Sorry but this is the only way I can describe it. It is very bad when it happens.
