I Am Eating Garlic Cloves For The Flu. Will This

I am eating garlic cloves for the flu. Will this in any way affect the way my xanex works? It doesn't seam to be working as normal to help me sleep so I was wondering if the garlic could be affecting it or whether it might just be the flu? And yes I noticed that I have been taking both about the same time.
