I Am Experiencing Deterioration Of My Ability To Walk And

I am experiencing deterioration of my ability to walk and stand up straight. I feel like my upper body does not want to stay straight, I drag my feet when walking, I started a new medication in Oct. (Tecfidera). I am not sure how long to wait to see any sign of improvement or at least a reduction of deterioration. It is scary. My neurologist said it could take a year to see the results of this new drug. Is a year somewhat long? I was diagnose with MS in 2011, and am a female age 54.
