I Am Experiencing Multiple Bites All Over My Body But

I am experiencing multiple bites all over my body but mostly on my legs. They are not fleas or bedbugs and I cannot see anything on my skin. I have sprayed, vacuumed, and washed to no avail. After looking online I am wondering if these are mites. I am scheduled to see a doctor on Tuesday but want to know if you have any suggestions for temporary relief in the mean time. I am miserable - itching keeps me up at night and anti-itch cream doesn't help. These bites are initially large, raised welts and then the following day turn dark red (almost like a bruise). I cannot see any pus in the center or an entry of a burrowing insect. I do have a small dog and he scratches on occasion but not incessantly. He has been on Paradyne continuously for at least a year. Unfortunately I am expecting houseguests and this is adding to my stress. Any advice? ~Kathy~
