I Am Experiencing Pain In My Back On The Right

I am experiencing pain in my back on the right side. I routinely self-catherize and recently have felt like I wasn't voiding enough. I'm wondering whether my pain (which is present but not severe) may indicate a problem with my kidney. I'm also wondering if I have symptoms that might suggest uremic poisoning?
