I Am Experiencing Pain In My Upper Left Leg And

I am experiencing pain in my upper left leg and in my hip area I was told in emerge that it was a muscle spasm and prescribed naproxen and Tizanidine for pain but it's not working all that well ! I have a few red spots in the area as well and I had a pulse like feeling onthe inside next to my knee that I could visibly see !! Please help
