I Am Experiencing Severe Pain Above My SI Joint On

I am experiencing severe pain above my SI joint on the left side and hurts to move. Had to call the ambulance yesterday to go to the hospital. Absolutely all -compassing pain excruciating pain.. ER thinks it is sciatica - but feels low to me and the pain meds and valium are not working What else could this be?do
