I Am Female 55 Years Old. I Had A Mammogram

I am female 55 years old. I had a mammogram about a month ago and all was fine. However the last few days I have noticed a fairly large hard tender area in my right breast. I have been told I have dense breasts and they are not large. It feels very different from normal or from my other breast. I feel I should seek a doctor opinion. Any thoughts.
