I Am From Rhode Island. I Was Outside With My

I am from Rhode Island. I was outside with my child and I have several bug bites all over both arms and legs (as well as my child).
That night most of the bites swelled and clear liquid (puss like)was exiting from the middle. There are swarms of tiny (like fruit flies) black flies everywhere. I have not yet seen a mosquito. I am almost deathly allergic to bees. So I know it wasn't a bee. Unfortunately I haven't yet caught a bug actually bitting me so I cannot tell you what bug bit me. I have put benadryl cream on these bites and the swelling has not gone down. It has been over 24 hours
