I Am Getting A FNB For Heterogeneous Mass On My

I am getting a FNB for Heterogeneous mass on my thyroid that is aprox 2" square. It's very painful and swollen from midline to the area just beyond my jaw bone line. It hurts to move my head and put my chin down. I do have Hashimotos, multi nodular toxic thyroid and cold nodules. My hand surgeon diagnosed DeQuervains Disease, is this related to the thyroid disease of the same name? What are the chances my thyroid will be removed.
