I Am Getting Ready To Have Rizotomy Of C2, C3

I am getting ready to have rizotomy of c2, c3 and c4 due to degenerative disc and spine disease. I am only 62 and I understand that the nerves grow back. How many times can this procedure be repeated and is there a permanent fix. I have had rizotomy on my low back and thy grew back. I have a pain stimulator for c5 and below but understand that trying to include the higher vertebrae my cause the stimulator to not work. currently it works fine,
