I Am Going For My 1st. BCG Treatment On Feb.
I am going for my 1st. BCG treatment on Feb. 3rd. I'm having a hard time dealing with the thought of the catheter and suffer from severe anxiety. I plan on taking 2 vallium prior to the treatment.
What size catheter should I ask them to use? What is the best numbing gel and how long does it take to go into affect? How painful is the insertion of the catheter? Do patients typically go to work the next day? How long after treatment can you begin to work out? I had my 2nd. biopsy procedure and recently experienced heavy bleeding and passed large blot clots 2 Weeks after surgery. I continue to have cramps. Will the BCG treatments give me additional cramping ? Thank you, Michael
