I Am Going Through The Menopause And Have Always Been

I am going through the menopause and have always been in the healthy range for blood pressure 125 over 80. I am 55 don't smoke exercise regularly drink moderately and am probably 1 stone over weight. I do feel stressed sometimes more recently I seem to know when my blood pressure is high because I feels anxious and worry about stuff. It seems to marry up with my blood pressure readings. I do take bp tablets 50mg losartan but felt OK the other day and my Bp was fine for 4 days then I started with my hot flushes again and started feeling quite irritable and then anxious and tested my be and it was 145 over 95 again so I restarted my tablets. Am I doing the right thing I don't really want to take tablets for the rest of my life if I can help myself by doing everything I can to reduce it myself. Could you give me some advice please. I am 5fy 5 and 11 stone 3
