I Am Having A TURP Redone. I've Had Thirteen Operations

I am having a TURP redone. I've had thirteen operations over the last four years. Propolol has been used in each operation except the first TURP. When I was brought out of anesthetia, I had unbearable pain. They had yto give me Norco, DeLauden, and finally fentinol. Does Propolol have some temporary good side effect of
blocking pain for a while when you are awakened?
