I Am Having A Dull Pain On The Lower Left

I am having a dull pain on the lower left side of my back. I have had this off and on for months. I reported it to my doctor who thinks its a muscle pull. The pain continues. Want to know what if any organs are located in that area and two could an inflamed ovary be a possibility? I have had a gastric bypass (the sleeve) and gallbladder removed.
