I Am Having A Problem With My Ear Feeling Like

I am having a problem with my ear feeling like it does when you are in an airplane and the ear won't "pop". I take a Sudafed-Sinus and the ear clears up but comes back when the Sudafed wears off. I have a lot of drainage mainly in the morning. The sudafed just treats the symptoms but the problem persist.
