I Am Having A Slight Pain In My Anterior Neck

I am having a slight pain in my anterior neck over the pulse. When in extension there was pain at c4 level now that pain has moved superiorly over a 24 hour period. Is it a possible blood clot in the jugular? Now about atlas or axis and is mildly painful upon rotation left especially with extension and rotation.
