I Am Having Allot Of Pain In My Stomach Left

I am having allot of pain in my stomach left side and my back. I took Ibuprofen about an hour ago and got some relief. My neighbor seems to think it may be a Kidney problem. No hunger nor thirst. I am 72 yrs. old 6' Tall, 210 lbs and diabetic. Non smoker, non drinker and a widower. I normally only use asperin. for pain relief. Should I continue using it?
