I Am Having Bad Acid Reflux As I Am Going

I am having bad acid reflux as I am going though a grieving process. I had a stomach ulcer several years ago and was given omeprazole, which helped settle it. I understand you can buy this over the counter.
I take 10mg of amitrtiptyline maybe once or twice a week as I have nerve neuralgia following surgery 2 years ago.
Is it ok to take a daily 10mg of Omeprazole for a short time i.e. 14 days whils taking the amitriptyline?
