I Am Having Cramping And Spotting And Lower Back Pain.

I am having cramping and spotting and lower back pain. I had ablation surgery 2 years ago and am 51. The dr. Thought I might have endomyosis. Found out that it was not. He now wants to check the lining of my uterus. I'm wondering why and what else would cause these symptoms.
