I Am Having Heart Palpitations It Feels Like My Heart

I am having heart palpitations it feels like my heart is skipping a beat. Been on and off for a few days. Keeps me up at night. Had it before in January went to the er was diagnosed with gerd. Had three ekgs and chest X-rays and labs all was good. Can this be caused by gerd no chest pain or shortness of breath
