I Am Having Itchy Symptoms Like Rash On My Body

I am having itchy symptoms like rash on my body - on my chest, back, on hands etc. It makes me very uncomfortable and restless. The areas get slightly red. Is it dry skin or some kind of an allergy and I am unable to figure out. It never happened before. It happened with scalp but not on my skin. I will appreciate an answer.
