I Am Having Left Upper Abdominal Quadrant Pain. At Times

I am having left upper abdominal quadrant pain. At times it feels like something is flipping over right underneath my rib cage. My skin will pull inward & it feels like a terrible spasm. Takes my breath away. Can my bowel be twisted?
Also hurts with cough, deep inhalation. I have no nausea/vomiting. I do take Linzess for IBS.
