I Am Having Pain In My Left Side That Radiates

I am having pain in my left side that radiates to the back. I have a history of kidney stones. Last night I was in severe pain but it eased up. I still have like a throbbing in my side. It isn't severe but it is pretty often. I think I have been having this a couple weeks but have passed it off as gas up until last night. I am feeling some discomfort but have not passed a stone. t is more in my side than my back so I am not sure it is kidney stones. I plan to see my urologist next week as it is the weekend. I am wonder what else it might could be?
