I Am Having Pain In My Lower Left Of My

I am having pain in my lower left of my mid-section. Seems to be in the soft area of my abdomen that is located close to my pelvic bone. I have had a severe bout with constipation and have taken a couple of suppositories over the last couple of days which has resulted in some elimination, but it was very strained. Could I have pulled a muscle or could it be block bowel?
